It’s about time for a new compact interview format. We call it »Instaview«. We asked ourselves, what would happen if we asked photographers to answer our questions with their photos? How concrete or self-indulgent can it get? Well, we’ve tried it out starting with Eylül Aslan and 5 intimate questions.
Photographer Eylül Aslan was born in Istanbul and studied French and Literature there before she moved to Berlin, where she lives and works today. Her works have been published in multiple independent magazines and zines all over the world, including in Zeit Magazin, Disturber Magazine, Oh Comely Magazine, Casa Fibra and Holy Ghost Zine. Her first book »Trauerweide« (engl.: »Weeping Willow – ed.) was published in 2014 by Editions du LIC. In 2015, »Dear Slut« followed from Edition Bessard Paris.
