This time the content focuses around the topic “iki” (En. Two). “Double standard”, a term that offers a lot of reading material in Turkish culture alone. Sometimes quite subtle, but also often blatant, and this time we still don’t use clichés. Instead – with our stories – we offer a space where these topics can be discussed.
This time it’s about: a fictional conversation between Darwin and Erdoğan on the exclusion of the Theory of Evolution from Turkish textbooks; a report on artificial hymens being sold online; an interview with a male pole dancer from Istanbul; a heartbreaking piece about a long-distance relationship and much more. Of course, this time “iki” is a bilingual edition.
