During his last visit to Cologne, Sertaç Yüksel, a young filmmaker from Istanbul, celebrated Carnival for the first time. This brilliant film is the result.

The filmmaker, who explicitly does not want to be known as a photographer, lives and works in Istanbul. Even before beginning his post-secondary work in communication studies at Marmara University in Istanbul, he made short films that won prizes at national and international festivals. After completing his studies, Yüksel worked as a film editor for a leading post-production company in Istanbul. After working on a plethora of commercials, music videos and feature films, he decided to concentrate on his passion and since then has been working as a freelance filmmaker.
