The Museum invites you to a special event of The Darvish by Queens Against Borders.
Experience with us an evening with unique dance and music performances, presented by trans and queer people from countries of the Middle East who live in Berlin today. This group of activists, artists and performers will walk with the visitors through the exhibition rooms in the Middle East Museum and interrupt conventional perspectives on the course of time in the museum. Their interactive stories and strong confessions allow a dialogue between people and antiquities and thus open up new perspectives for our perception of the past.
