The Absurd: Back to differ

Zur Feier des 40-jährigen Bestehens von The Absurd nahm die Band 2024 mehr als ein Dutzend Titel auf, die nun endlich auf dem Vinyl-Doppelalbum „Back To Differ“ veröffentlicht werden. Parallel dazu erscheint ein Buch mit Songtexten von Michael Frank und Stehgreifzeichnungen von Vera P. Frank.

Im Rahmen ihres traditionellen Neujahrskonzerts im LOFT präsentiert die Band in wechselnden Besetzungen Tracks von Back To Differ und eine ganze Reihe neuer unerhörter Songs – zwischen Psychedelia, Avant-Rock und Melodien aus der Türkei.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Absurd, the band recorded more than a dozen tracks in 2024, which are now finally being released on the double vinyl album “Back To Differ.” A book with lyrics by Michael Frank and sketches by Vera P. Frank will be published at the same time. As part of their traditional New Year’s concert at LOFT, the band will present tracks from Back To Differ and a whole series of new, unheard songs in varying line-ups – ranging from psychedelia and avant-rock to melodies from Turkey.
